這段旅程是怎麼在心中開始萌發的，我想該從我還在馬祖的時候開始說。當時被國家綁了一年青春，生活略嫌乏悶，好想在恢復自由後幹個什麼事。想了想，既然我還沒有出過國，那就到國外見識見識吧，蒙古國的大草原一直是我嚮往的地方，那就去看看生活在寬廣天空下的蒼狼之子他們的生活哲學有什麼不一樣。就這麼著手計畫，把原本退伍後要換相機的基金也投入（istD就繼續撐下去吧)，生活開始節省，研究如何玩才會既便宜又深入(搭飛機到北京，換長途巴士到蒙中邊境，坐吉普車通關，換搭蒙古境內火車到UB)，心裡已經幻想著我將在大草原上奔馳一個月。但是計畫總趕不上變化，沒料到國際油價一路飆高，對於以車輛移動為主的蒙古旅遊影響很大。旅費大漲的狀況讓我原本已經吃緊的資金更是吃不消，去還是可以去，只是回台灣後就要靠朋友接濟了。因此在放棄蒙古之旅時，澳洲打工度假旅遊就跑進腦海裡，其實原來並沒有對澳洲有多感興趣，只是WHV讓我可以在當地打工賺旅費，我可以不多的資金完成一段較長時間的旅程，因此選擇到澳洲。
原本這段澳洲之行只是我蒙古的替代之旅，因此考慮加上工作時間，整個旅程時間也不打算超過三個月。我沒有想要把澳洲大部分走到，或是在澳洲賺到多少錢，這段旅程收穫的收穫才是重點。不過受到其他人的影響，難得機會不待久一點很可惜，我也不知不覺受影響想說可能半年甚至一年，忘了我的初衷。
不管如何，旅程已經展開，我也不知道會待多久。
我想長短不是問題，過程盡興就好。
